Great foods to add to your diet
- Baby Bok Choy
high in potassium, calcium, iron, and is only 20 calories. Use in stir fries or in a stew.
- Red Lentils
high in potassium, iron, and 16 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber. Great to add to stews or salad. They are cheap, nutritious, and filling.
My favorite. It is a cross between broccoli and Chinese broccoli ( my kids call it mutant broccoli) It has a sweeter taste. The stem is actually the sweeter part on it. It is loaded with vitamins A, C and K and is a good source of potassium, iron and calcium.
